BiocSol is developing the next generation of microbial-based biopesticides using microbial extracts instead of living microbes. BiocSol’s innovative approach combines multiple modes of action to combat pathogens that are rapidly developing resistance to current solutions. Biocsol products are designed to provide high field efficacy, reliability and compatibility with other products. They are characterized by extended shelf life, biodegradability and ease of use.
New impulse in solutions for fungal diseases like Phytophthora
BiocSol’s first biopesticide products target late and early blight in potatoes (Phytophthora infestans and Alternaria solani) and downy mildew in lettuces and grapes. These fungal and oomycete pathogens are rapidly developing resistance against the traditional (chemical) treatments, threatening food security by destroying a significant part of the annual global harvest. With its new solutions, BiocSol provides farmers with new, efficient and sustainable tools to face this threat.
