Biotalys
The next generation biocontrol products
Biotalys is focuses on the development of a new generation of innovative plant protection products based on a proprietary antibody-based technology. Biotalys has with its unique platform technology the ability to offer a wide range of active antibodies with different mode of actions. The first commercial product is the biofungicide EvocaTM which provides protection against powdery mildew and gray mold in strawberries, grapes, melons, eggplants and tomatoes.
A sustainable and safe food supply
The products of Biotalys are biodegradable, so they do not lead to soil and groundwater pollution. They are safe to use and leave no residue on treated products. With its developments, Biotalys contributes to aresponsible food production with less food loss and a reduction in pesticide use. Biotalys is also committed to develop a biofungicide that can control leaf spot disease, a devastating disease in cowpeas, a crop that provides an important source of protein and is grown primarily by millions of small farmers in Africa.
